One Survey, Multiple Reports: Our research and design have taken the guess work out of data analysis for school leaders. A variety of school survey reporting tools are available at your fingertips within two school days of closing your survey, meaning that you can target interventions at exactly the right time to make a difference. All of the following reporting tools come as standard with TTFM Student Surveys.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Contact us today to learn more about the reports or to arrange a no-strings attached live demonstration, and see for yourself how the data can be brought to life.
To make it as easy as possible to access your results, we have a “one-click” report that brings you an overview of all measures straight to your desktop. The easy-to-read, dynamically generated PDF ensures that you’re only ever one click away from up-to-date, accurate information on what’s going on in your school. A quick glance at each measure makes it easy to spot patterns or anomalies.
Flat numbers leave too much to the imagination. Our dynamic charts enable the busy administrator to conduct in-depth analysis in no time, by looking at the results of sub-populations within a school, such as grade, gender, language spoken at home, or Aboriginal status, as well as your own unique criteria. You can also add comparison lines, data from your previous years, and create a “story” of charts that support your priority initiatives. We’ve done all the hard work, so you can concentrate on designing appropriate interventions based on what’s really going on in your school.
Tell Them From Me is the largest school survey in Canada. This means that we have been able to create a rich data set of norms, which are useful comparisons based on a large number of responses from schools of all sizes and locations. Knowing where your data sits in the bigger picture allows you to really see which areas you can celebrate, and which you can target for improvement.
“I have a different group of students than other schools.” Sound familiar? Many administrators have told us that they wish they could compare their data with a school comprised of students with similar socio-economic backgrounds. The unique Replica School feature provides such a comparison, making it possible to fairly compare results with a virtual school that has the same student composition as yours.
A distinct advantage of TTFM surveys lies in the ability to monitor continuously during the school year, and year-over-year. This allows you to effectively observe the impact of your school improvement efforts. Easy access to results over time rather than a one-off snapshot is just one way of helping you to achieve your school improvement goals.
Open-Ended and Multiple Choice/Answer Questions
OurSCHOOL reporting tools are both qualitative and quantitative, providing a space for survey takers to express their open and honest opinion anonymously. You are able to add your own custom questions for any burning questions you’d love to ask or any specific priority issues on which you’d like to get further insight. The results are provided through a ‘word cloud’ tool with useful filters, and you can use the Multiple Choice Question results to drill-down your data by custom categories. Bringing together the strengths of reliable, research based questions and the flexibility of customization, OurSCHOOL offers the best of both worlds.
Scrapbook provides a place to conveniently store and easily retrieve favourite picks from your Interactive Charts. You can add multiple variations of the same measure if different drill-downs tell your story. This unique time-saving feature makes it easy to store information for future reference, edit chart and Scrapbook titles, tag charts to add them to groups, add personalized notes, and even download them to your desktop in PDF or PowerPoint slides with the click of a button.
Teacher Survey and Parent Survey Reports
The Focus on Learning Teacher Survey and the Partners in Learning Parent Survey provide insightful and practical PDF reports that can easily be integrated into school improvement efforts. They both use ‘radar’ charts, which present averages for each measure on a 10-point scale. For closer analysis, breakdowns either of the average point scale or the percentage for each response are also provided where appropriate. However, the interactive reporting elements are currently only available for the student surveys.
A unique set of tools are available for district administrators to explore both school-level and district-level data. One-Click reports and Thematic Reports are also available as district aggregates.
Single Indicator Report
Extracting the results for a specific survey measure, such as Sense of Belonging, from each of the participating schools is quick and easy. This tool is particularly useful for identifying best practices, and the first step to implementing those practices at other schools within the district.
Roll-up Interactive (RI) Charts
The RI charts are designed specifically for districts and provinces overlooking multiple schools or districts. This powerful tool allows you to create unique ‘clusters’ or groups of schools by simply dragging and dropping them into categories, such as geography – North, South, East, West, Central – or into any other grouping useful to you. Dynamic results can then be created on any of the survey measures such as School Safety, resulting in a summary of the findings by these smart groupings. At times when it could be easy to feel overwhelmed, this powerful and flexible reporting tool is priceless.
