The Learning Bar is announced as the winner of the 2009 Fredericton Chamber of Commerce Small Business Excellence Award
23 October 09 - The Fredericton Chamber of Commerce 2009 Business Excellence Awards were held at the Delta Fredericton Hotel last night. The Learning Bar was nominated in the Small Business Award category, and won the award during the ceremony well attended by business leaders and dignitaries from across the city.
The Learning Bar was one of eight award winners, and was recognized in particular for commitment and dedication to customer service, industry participation, and community support.
Patrick Flanagan, CEO of The Learning Bar, accepted the award on behalf of The Learning Bar team: "My job is to bring my co-founder Dr. Doug Willms' love of data to the masses, starting with schools. We make data collection easy, and bring it to life for schools so they can get students more engaged, especially those who are at risk of school failure. And this is not just for students and school administrators. This is for all those non-number types out there who would love to "get it" when it comes to data."
